I’m Ben Hartley.  I’m your Labour Party candidate for Altrincham and Sale West at the next General Election.  This is a seat that Labour can win!  At the last election, there were only 6,000 votes separating Labour and the Tories.  Only Labour can beat the Tories here.  The Lib Dems and the Greens are a long way behind, so a vote for them risks letting the Tories in again.  Isn’t it about time Altrincham and Sale West had its first Labour MP and the country had a Labour government?  A vote for me is a vote for someone who is Local, Experienced and On Your Side.

The quality of life for Altrincham and Sale West residents is getting worse.  13 years of Conservative government have crashed our economy and decimated our public services.  Working people are paying the price.  Many have not had a real-terms pay increase for ten years or more.  Mortgages have increased by thousands of pounds a year.  Local households and businesses have seen their energy bills increase three or four-fold and food inflation is at a staggering 15%.

I’ll be your voice in Parliament, fighting for action on the cost of living crisis and long-term solutions to the climate crisis.  I love this community, but we can do so much better.  That’s why I’ll never stop fighting for the people that live and work here.
